Sum Sum Summertime :-)

Summertime is officially here!!! We've been spending our days outside at the park, in the sandbox, pool, playing with chalk, going for walks, riding bikes, rollerblading, and just having fun fun fun. With all of the go go go, mommy has not done the best job of keeping up with pictures, but here are a few highlights from the past month . . .

Last week we took a trip to Cosley Zoo in Wheaton. It was the perfect zoo for Macy and Cole with its focus on farm animals.

Macy's friend Ana had her 3rd Birthday party at Monkey Business indoor playplace. Macy had such a great time playing with all of her friends, and was very brave in trying all of the equipment and obstacles. It was such a fun party!!!

Painting time!!! Macy couldn't have been more excited to find out they got to PAINT at the party too . . . the girl loves her crafts!!

On the rainy summer days we've had Macy has occupied much of her time making "noodles" with her playdough machine. I'm sure glad that playdough is non-toxic because Macy has decided to taste her noodles more than once . . . she also very generously has put her noodles in Cole's mouth and told him, "Eat Cole eat. Macy make noodles. Eat."

At the beginning of the month we celebrated daddy's birthday with a surprise breakfast feast, followed by family playtime, a family bike ride with daddy's new bike trailer, and a date night for mommy and daddy.

We are looking forward to lots more fun-filled summer activities in the month of July!!
