Sonny Acres, Preschool, and First Steps!

We returned to Sonny Acres Farm again this fall with the kids to visit the pumpkin patch. This year's highlight for Macy was seeing WHITE pumpkins. She was absolutely fascinated by this, so of course we had to buy one to bring home with us. Cole was all about the hayride, although he did not want to follow the tractor driver's instructions of remaining seated during the ride (nothing new there!)
Both Macy and Cole are doing well. We have returned to a busy schedule this fall with playgroups, library time, and Macy starting 2 year old preschool.

Macy is loving going to school. So far the only tears have been from mommy. Macy loves painting, playing, listening to stories, and coloring at school. Currently, Macy is in love with all things princess! She brings a princess pack to school, has a princess purse, and wants to dress up like a princess every day in one of her many tutus.
Cole took his first solo steps a week ago last Friday. He can do up to 4 steps on his own, but he usually still prefers to crawl because he can get there much faster and it is easier for him to do :-) He babbles all the time now, and I swear Macy and Cole have a secret babble language. His favorite word is "baby" followed by "mom" for all of his wants and needs . . . . "up" is also a pretty popular word in his vocabulary.
Cole and Macy play together all of the time now. It is so very cute!! They love riding down the slides together at the park hand-in-hand. Cole insists on doing absolutely everything Macy does no matter how high the slide or tunnel, and throws a fit if we do not let him.

Happy Fall!!! What a wonderful time of year!!!
